One of the Greatest Books!!!!

I just finished this book and I thought it was great!!!! I have become a Stephanie Meyer fan and can't wait for the 4th Twilight book to come out but even more so I can't wait for the movie to come out!!! Why does it have to be clear in December??? If you want a good book to read this is it!! I can't believe how well it's written and it keeps your interest. It started out kind of slow but it got moving and kept on moving. It kept me on my toes during the whole book!!!! Read it and you won't regret it!!!

Thanks Mom and Dad!!

We got a great gift over the weekend!!! A washer and dryer! Yay. My mom and dad gave us their old ones and I'm so excited. It's the first time we've had one since being married and it's so nice to start a load before work and change it when I get home! No more huge piles of laundry we have to take to the laundromat. It's awesome!!!! Thanks mom and dad.

Timing is everything!!!!

So things are really looking up for us. I just had a good conversation with my mom and she was telling me that everything has been timed perfectly. We have been in Utah for 15 days, just in time to be able to see my grandpa and tell him we love him before he passed away (which was very good for me) and I hadn't found a job which I was worried about because you have to pay bills somehow right??? Well, I had a job interview today and she offered me the job! She said that she feels kind of like she was "waiting" for me. It made me feel good to know that Heavenly Father is watching out for me even though at times it seemed that he wasn't. Thank you guys for all of your encouragement and support that you have given me. I'm just so happy right now and it's great!!!!

A Wonderful Grandpa

Well my grandpa passed away Saturday morning really early. What a wonderful man he was and how I will always remember him. It still isn't real to me. I was at my grandma's house yesterday and most of today and it was just like he would walk through the door any minute and say "What did I miss?" It was the sweetest thing to watch him and my grandma talk before he passed away. I will always remember him for always smiling, for being there when I needed him and even when I didn't need him. He was such a role model to me and everyone that knew him. The world will be a different place without him. Grandpa I love you and I will really miss you and all the good times you have blessed me with!!

Welcome to Utah

So it seems that since we've been in Utah our luck kind of has been going against us! I had thought that I had a lot of jobs lined up yet I'm still jobless, our dog got attacked and we had to take her to the vet, my UVSC account has a hold on it (which I don't know why), my grandpa was admitted to the hospital, and our new ward starts at 1:00 instead of 11:00!!! Hopefully nothing else will go wrong. (It has really been good though that we came when we did because we were able to help out the family). (On another positive note I do have two job interviews lined up so wish me well....)

I've had a lot of time to think about things and just realize how lucky I am to have a wonderful family that I love and they love me. Since my grandpa isn't doing very well I've struggled. He's been such a strength to me and I don't know what I will do with out him. Words can't do him justice. He is such a man of strength, honor, love, courage and every other positive words out there!!! He was always there to give me priesthood blessings when I was struggling or he was just there to give me a grandpa hug. I just love him so much!!!

I've pondered a lot lately on what life really is about and how I have so much I have to do and I am just such a slacker in a lot of areas that I really need to work on. I'm thankful for the knowledge that I have been given of what we're here for. I am so thankful for my family and the strength that they are.

Excitement in Utah

Well we made it to Utah on Monday around 8:30. Our drive here was ok. We ran across 2 accidents where people were killed. The second accident was just out of Albequerque and it shut the freeway down so we had to stop for the night which I think was a good think because Robbie was getting really tired. But other than that the drive was good.
So we stayed the first night at my mom's house and I was excited for Cassie to meet all the other dogs cuz then she would have friends to play with...well she got attacked by my brother's dog and so we had to take her to the vet the next day. Now anytime a dog comes around she gets scared which I understand. This was a frightening experience for her.
Nothing else really has happened. We got all our boxes put into the house and now we get to figure out where they all go. And I get the fun task of finding a job. The one lady I was real hopeful about I think is out of town for the 4th and so I may not hear back from her for awhile...who knows. I just hope I find something soon otherwise I'll drive Robbie crazy!!!
On the upside though my twin brother Jeff had his second child born this morning at 4:30 so we're going to see the baby and Suzi (my bro's girlfriend). So that's a quick overview of what's going on. I'll post more later!!!
